    Howard has been part of The Colour Works team since 2011 and had used the Insights Discovery model successfully for many years prior.

    Howard combines extensive senior management and leadership experience – gained through over twenty-five years working in media publishing businesses – with a powerful ability to engage with and support people towards exceptional performance. He is a highly-skilled Directorcommunicator, presenter, facilitator and coach with an enviable ability to unlock potential. He works to enable people to achieve brilliance by getting out of their own way.

    Leadership clarity, continuous improvement, embracing and overcoming conflict and personal authenticity are core to his values and style. He particularly enjoys working with teams to achieve a lasting shift in the understanding and fulfillment of the power of true team working.


    As well as being an accredited Insights Practitioner, (in addition to other psychometric tools), he is also a qualified and accredited executive coach and mentor, a member of the EMCC, The Association for Coaching and a Fellow of the ILM.

    Outside of The Colour Works, he tries to control three dogs during long walks in the Surrey Hills, (yes, there are some), as well as indulging in his passion for climbing and wild spaces when occasion permits. Less demanding physically is the House of Commons, where he is a member of The Debating Group. He also keeps himself real, as he terms it, through a number of non-executive positions, spanning such varied sectors as consumer research and, though you wouldn’t know it to look at him, Scandinavian fashion!


    Howard had all of us fully captivated and we look forward to future classes with him. The presentation and materials provided were best in class and we are fortunate to have participated in this activity on behalf of our company.
