We change the way people work together

At The Colour Works, we believe it’s our team who drive us to greatness. Professional, innovative and with a thirst for knowledge, they achieve this by collaborating and sharing their experiences, supporting each other, enjoying each other’s company and being the best they can be.
The real key to the impact we make sits with, like any organisation, our people.

As a whole, we exist to equip individuals with the knowledge, tools and confidence to fulfil their own potential and deliver better results, at every level of an organisation, through the development and management of emotional intelligence. Since 2003 we have supported over 100,000 individuals from across the globe, and covering all 3 sectors, in Personal, Team, Leadership and Organisational Development, winning awards along the way.

Over the years we have developed some world-class tools, team surveys and organisational assessments that support our programmes, but the Insights Discovery colour model of behaviour and profiling tool lies at the heart of what we do. Derived from the psychology of Carl Jung and recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS), this model is accessible, insightful, memorable and applicable, and we use it because nothing comes close to offering such immediate impact and return on investment. The awareness and meaningful language the model brings gives teams and leaders a framework with which to engage, challenge and build trust, whether the journey be a brief networking presentation or a year-long people development strategy.

The most important element of our work is that we practise what we preach, living on a daily basis the principles and values that we promote as being vital to a healthy workplace. We are:

HONEST. With ourselves, with each other, with our clients.
We do this by regularly asking for and giving feedback and
reporting to clients an honest perspective of what we’ve seen and heard.

FRESH. We stay curious, interesting and expansive.
We do this through CPD by regularly researching new material,
sharing our thoughts on what we’ve learned and building new
    learning modules together.

UNDERSTANDING. We quieten our minds to more fully understand
ourselves and others, our clients and their needs.
We do this by ensuring regular and significant time
is put into hearing each other.

HUMBLE. We acknowledge our own fallibility and,
therefore, that together we are stronger.
We do this by trusting in each other, sharing expertise
    and asking for help.
