Would you like to know more about resilience?

Have the last couple of years taken their toll on you and your team?

Could you do with some tools and techniques to build resilience?

Why attend?

Ever-changing goalposts, stress, burnout, presenteeism, working from home with childrenā€¦ our lives just keep on throwing new challenges at us, and if we are not careful, performance and wellbeing can take a sudden nosedive.

At The Colour Works we believe that resilience is an essential attribute that EVERYONE should invest time in building. Resilience describes the ability toĀ bounce back from adversity, but letā€™s be honest ā€“ thatā€™s a big ask! Resilience is so much more and comprises of many more layers than we might expect. It takes time, effort, and a very personal approach to buildā€¦ no one way suits everyone ā€“ but some common themes can help.

At The Colour Works we believe that building personal and team resilience should be a daily task, and by using the colour energies of Insights Discovery we can create an impactful and meaningful safety net of resilience that will help us to bounce back when the chips are down.

How will I benefit?

This 60-minute workshop will help you:

  • Understand the four dimensions of resilience
  • Know what triggers stress for the colour energies
  • Build better team resilience
  • Take some time out to reflect, learn and action plan

Why this workshop is important

No one is 100% resilient, nor should others expect us to be. This workshop is important because life throws more than just work-based challenges at us. We all make sense of these challenges in different ways, and this impacts our performance, motivation, and health. By knowing how to build a baseline of resilience, and actively engage in activities that recharge our inner batteries, when the curve balls hit our desk, we have a greater resource to draw upon to deal with them in the moment.

In this workshop, we will

  • Break resilience down into its key components
  • Learn how resilience can be influenced by our colour preferences
  • Establish some tangible actions to build resilience over time
  • Pick up some tools and techniques to help teammates be more resilient

"Thanks for running this session. I'd not used the break out rooms - very good, great to have the 2 min count down to end of discussion. Was very useful to see what other people are doing, particularly in relation to COVID-related change."

"The break out sessions, although a little awkward at first were invaluable."
