Howard Scott

Consultant, Facilitator and Coach

Howard Scott‘s Discovery Profile

With a powerful ability to engage and inspire people towards exceptional performance, Howard is a highly-skilled facilitator, conference presenter and coach – with an enviable ability to unlock potential and build self-confidence. His relaxed, discussive, fun but outcome-focussed facilitation style quickly puts individuals at ease, enabling them to contribute openly and comfortably.

Clarity of purpose, continuous improvement, embracing and overcoming conflict and personal responsibility are core to his values and style. He is passionate about the personal choices true leadership demands, and, as he puts it, how individuals can get out of their own way in exercising those choices.

With extensive senior management and leadership experience gained from over 30 years working in publishing and multi-media businesses, coupled with non-executive director roles in both the private and public sectors, he has experienced just about everything that business and people can throw at you.

He works with both new and established clients (both as a Facilitator and Coach) across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia, spanning a multitude of sectors and client size – within both profit and not-for-profit environments.

When not working, he can be spotted attempting to control two dogs during walks in the Surrey Hills (yes there are some) or indulging in his passion for climbing, clay shooting and classic cars.

In addition to being an Insights® accredited Licensed Practitioner, Howard is a Fellow of the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management), an ILM trained and accredited Executive Coach & Mentor, a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) a CMI (Chartered Management Institute) accredited Programme Tutor and an accredited BGI Strategy Practitioner.
